Event FAQs

What is the Yellow Tie Gala 2021?
Westfield’s most anticipated event will take place on Friday, October 8, at 6:30 p.m. on the luxurious grounds of The Bridgewater Club. Guests will be outdoors and will enjoy live music, a live auction, cash bar, delicious food from The Bridgewater Club plus other local establishments in the area. In addition, this year you will have an opportunity to purchase an entry into a Reverse Raffle for a chance to win $5,000 cash at the end of the evening.  Proceeds from the event will benefit the Westfield Youth Assistance Program.

What is the dress code?
This is a formal event but will be held outside on the grounds of The Bridgewater Club. Cocktail attire is suggested, black tie optional. Most of the outdoor venue is concrete, but there are some grass or uneven sections where heels are not recommended. Most guests historically have worn yellow clothing or yellow accessories.

How much are the tickets?
MYTG tickets are $150/person. Each ticket includes one signature cocktail, food stations, and live music. Additional purchases include Reverse Raffle (purchase in advance for $100/person), wine pull ($20/bottle), live auction and cash bar.

What is a Reverse Raffle?
You do NOT want your number to be called in a reverse raffle because the numbers called throughout the night are the guests that will be eliminated from the raffle. Only 100 tickets will be available, and the cost to participate is $100 per person. At the end of the evening, a lucky Yellow Tie Gala guest will walk away with $5,000 cash and the Westfield Youth Assistance Program will also receive $5,000 for their program. If your number gets called and you are eliminated, there will be opportunities to get back in the raffle.

How can we participate in the MYTG?
Visit the Gala Ticket Page to purchase an event ticket or an event ticket + a Reverse Raffle entry. You can support the Westfield Youth Assistance Program through attending the MYTG or through financial contributions on our website, www.westfieldyellowtiegala.com.

What food will be available this year?
There will NOT be a sit-down dinner this year. Instead, guests will enjoy small bites from The Bridgewater Club and other local establishments including Grindstone on the Monon, Quack Daddy Donuts, Urban Vines, Wolfies and more!  Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available.

What is the inclement weather plan?
Since the event is outdoors this year, it will be moved inside The Bridgewater Club if it rains or storms. In the case of an indoor event, masks will be encouraged for unvaccinated guests. If changes occur due to weather, an email with updated arrival information will be sent to attendees.

Who benefits from the MYTG fundraiser?
Westfield Youth Assistance Program is the beneficiary of Westfield’s largest single-day fundraiser. Funds received help provide services and support to the youth in Westfield who are facing challenging life circumstances.

What is the Westfield Youth Assistance Program (WYAP)?
WYAP was formed in 2009 to serve as an early intervention advocate for youth ages 3-17 facing challenging life circumstances. A holistic approach is used to coordinate the  community’s vast array of talents, services, and resources to help youth and empower parents and caregivers.  By giving the youth, we serve every advantage to grow and reach their full potential. We are confident they will grow to become engaged and contributing members of this community or whatever community they find themselves in someday. Learn more at youthassistance.org/Westfield.
